I'm not Jewish, neurotic, or interested in younger women; and yet, I've never been able to relate with any actor the way I've been able to relate to Woody Allen. Maybe because we are both incompetent misfits and find the general population to be in superior to the standards we live our lives trying to achieve. His tanked self-esteem is part of his charm, and also another thing that makes him so relatable. "The biggest regret of my life is not being someone else." Amen. In Annie Hall, he explains how the Groucho Marx quote "I do not care to be a part of any club that would have me as a member" defines his love life. That is a very familiar feeling. It's just like, the things that come out of his mouth are things that are sloshing around in my head waiting for someone to say. Soon-yi is getting too young. Maybe I'll get my piece.

She released her first record in '66, and then dropped out of the music scene until the 2000's. Now she appears on contemporary folk artist's records, such as Devendra, Joana Newsom, and Animal Collective.
